Acknowledgement of Territory
The Vancouver Island Human Rights Coalition acknowledges that we are visitors on the traditional territory of the Coast Salish people and we thank the WS'ANEC' (Saanich), Lkwungen (Songhees) and Wyomilth (Esquimalt) peoples for allowing us to work and reside in their lands.
Who We Are
The Vancouver Island Human Rights Coalition (VIHRC) is a non-profit community organization governed by an elected board of directory (which function as a coordinating collective). We strive to offer an anti-oppressive service for people who are facing discrimination. We also assist individuals in filing human rights complaints under the BC Human Rights Code.
Our Goals
To educate individuals and groups on human rights issues and legislation.
To promote the realization of equal rights and equal opportunities, including individual and collective rights.

To meet with the advocate please email or call the office to set up an appointment. Due to funding the advocate's time in the office is limited and thus regular office hours are not possible.
